Maybelline Color Tattoos...awesome.
I had a bronze pigment and Bold Gold lying around for ages. Neither got as much love as they deserved, yet I didn't feel like they needed to be chucked.
Sooo, I mixed 'em together to create something that I would actually use.
Firstly, since Bold Gold was a little dry and cracked, I gave it a good stir with the end of a little spoon. I then removed a little and put it to the side.
Next, I threw in some pigment. I only added a little bit at a time so I wouldn't get pot overflow. Then I did a shitload of stirring and 'folding'. I basically kept adding pigment until the colour was enjoyable.
Lastly, I put the remainer of the Colour Tattoo back in and gave it a good, final stir.
The next day, I used Bold Bronze (saaahhh creative) as a base to see if it worked okay. It was glorious! It worked just as well as the original (looked nice; didn't crease), but was now a lot prettier. Here's a swatch:
It is a little different in texture (feels smoother and thinner), but it's fine. No issues.
So, yeah... that's my lesson in doing shit with makeup you don't use.
