Losing it for lipstick #2 - Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids

As soon as these popped up online, I put them on my to-buy list. I'm sure you understand. Or at least you will once you see them.

Funny story before I begin - Anita and I were on the hunt for these since Priceline claimed they had hit stores. We searched all over the place until we finally spotted them at Priceline Parramatta (the big one). It's fair to say that we lost our shit. Seriously. We screamed. Seriously. Anita fell to the ground. Literally. SHE. FELL. TO. THE. GROUND. One of the salespeople came and asked if we were okay. This would be embarrassing if it weren't so fucking hilarious. That's the end of the story. Hope you enjoyed.

Anyway, I had to grab a few as Priceline had a 3 for 2 sale on Maybelline. I'd be a fool not to, right?

As you can see, I bagged Fuschia Flash, Pink Pop and Hot Plum. I'm also keen to get my mitts on Brazenberry (a purple which unfortunately isn't being released in Oz). If you're not into pinks and purples, don't fret - they also have a few killer reds and corals on offer. Anita scored Shocking Coral and it's a doozy.

I've worn each of these (on different days, obvs) and I can safely say that they are amazing. Smooth and pigmented. And they feel almost nourishing on the lips. Decent lasting power, too. And the packaging makes me happy. It's pretty. And a tad raunchy. Plus, I like the sound they make when you close them. Don't pretend these things don't matter.

All in all, I highly recommend these for bright lip lovers. Gorgeous colour selection, and the formula is wonderful.

Get 'em from Priceline, Target, Kmart, Big W, Chemist Warehouse...and the list goes on. Where don't they sell Maybelline? Oh, and don't be deterred if you can't find them yet. I feel like it'll be another week or so 'til you start seeing them everywhere.
