Hey girls!
This past weekend, I went along to the official opening of the new Gloss store in Parra with my two lovers, Chelle and Anita. Click their names for their blog links!
Anyway, while we were waiting in line to get our nails did, one of the Gloss girls gave us nail polish remover so we could get our claws ready. It looked like this:
I'd never seen this little pot of cuteness before so I was intrigued. I watched Anita attack her glitter nails with the pads and they worked like magic. Plus, they left a sorta oily residue (a good one!) so her nails weren't dry and ick. Instead, they felt moisturised and looked nice. And smelt like grape! We immediately decided to buy some. I bought grape, Anita got strawberry and Chelle got raspberry. Can you tell we were impressed? Oh, and did I mention they were only $2.95?
Check out my nails, before and after:
First thing I have to say is that these things WORK. Really, really, really well. I've never had glitter polish come off so easily. No scrubbing. No foil bullshit. Nada. Big tick!
Second, the leftover residue is so good. These little pads don't dry out my nails and make my cuticles look like shite. In fact, they make it seem like I've used cuticle oil or something. Jazzy!
Thirdly, using one pad isn't gonna work. They're too thin. They don't break apart or anything, but they're just too flimsy and fiddly. I had to grab like 3-4 at a time. A little annoying and wasteful, but it's not that big of an issue for me.
All in all, these are def worth a try. They smell good, work great and feel like they're doing good things. Well done.
xx
